On Friday 25th July, thousands gathered outside Downing Street for what many described as the most powerful protest yet in solidarity with Gaza.
With pots and pans in hand, demonstrators made noise for those being starved under Israel’s blockade - a haunting call to action as mass starvation looms.
The video features short interviews with Kate Hudson of CND and Tadhg Hickey, the Irish writer and comedian known for his political satire. Both speak powerfully about the urgency of the moment and the need for global solidarity.
Captured on film is also a moment when a vehicle exits Downing Street and police forcibly arrest a peaceful protester - despite claims there was no space to comply with their orders.
